What is Self Storage?

The term "self storage" is short for "self-service storage" . Self storage facilities rent out space to any number of individuals, usually storing household goods, to small businesses, usually storing excess inventory or archived records. The rented spaces or rooms have to be secured by the licensee 's own lock and key and can access the contents of the space during opening hours.

At Safehouse Self storage our storage spaces are usually rented on a 4 weekly basis (known as a period) .
